The client wanted to increase their press and digital PR coverage by commenting on the recent Gender Pay Gap statistics – however, they had little experience in approaching journalists with their research and turned to LOCALiQ for help.

LOCALiQ assessed data from the Office of National Statistics report “Gender pay gap: 2023′ before investigating the gender pay gap within the top UK towns/cities within each region, comparing these to the average gender pay gap.
Our digital PR specialists then requested a comment from the client on the data and findings of the research and included their quote and advice within the press release. Once completed, we created numerous localised versions of the story and contacted relevant journalists who have previously covered gender/pay gap-related stories for online exposure.
