LOCALiQ are starting February off on the right foot; we have been shortlisted in the UK Paid Media Awards. We are one of eleven businesses shortlisted in the highly contested Paid Search Campaign of the Year.

This is the second consecutive year that LOCALiQ has been shortlisted in these awards; last year, we achieved a silver award in the Local Campaign of the Year for our work with a children’s fostering agency.


About the Campaign

LOCALiQ partnered with Gayhurst School for eight months to work on a lead conversion campaign. They had two targets; to improve CTR (click through rate) and the lead quality.

Our team worked hard running several ad campaigns throughout the contract and achieved some impressive results for the school, some of which are detailed below:

  • Improved CTR – Through extensive research and targeting, the team were able to create search ads for specific keywords. The result was a CTR of 5.38% – over 3% higher than the industry benchmark of 1.91%.
  • Lead conversions – Prior to our work with Gayhurst School, they averaged 15 leads per month. Our ads campaign helped them receive 266 leads – an average of 33.25 leads per month which equates to a 122% increase.
  • Telephone leads – Over half of Gayhurst’s leads come via telephone. Prior to our involvement, they averaged 5 monthly calls. With our help they averaged 17.75 calls per month – a 250% increase.

Overall, this campaign demonstrates the value we can bring to a small communications team . We allow them to prioritise their number one mission – nurturing children to succeed.
